▌Wanin International Visual

Wanin Visual has long been dedicated to the development, investment, and production of film and television content, with a focus on discovering original stories that combine strong commercial potential with compelling screen adaptation value. The company continues to develop a diverse slate of feature films, TV series, and genre-driven projects. Its previous productions, including The Pig, the Snake and the Pigeon and LoveSick, achieved outstanding box office success. Its TV series Do Not Wake Up, currently in production, is adapted from the LINE WEBTOON of the same title and stars Korean actor Choi Si Won alongside Regina Lei and Wang Po-chieh. In addition, the horror film Hold to Death: Hand in Hand, released this April, has successfully expanded into the international market and has been sold to distributors across 18 territories.

The winning screenplay from the first edition, Don’t Father Me!, entered development immediately after being selected. Following script revisions and an extensive pre-production process, the project officially wrapped this April. The film is produced by Benson Chen, directed by Hsu Fu-Hsiang (LoveSick), and brought to life by an award-winning production team. Featuring an acclaimed cast including Aaron Kwok, Wang Po-chieh, Chen Yi-han, and Yang Kuei-Mei, the project demonstrates how a winning screenplay can successfully progress from the written page to full-scale screen production.

Currently, Wanin Visual has several productions in post-production. In addition to Don’t Father Me!, its upcoming slate includes the horror feature Host, directed by acclaimed Hong Kong horror filmmaker Danny Pang, and the action thriller Kill At Once. Through the continuous development of projects across a wide range of genres and production scales, Wanin Visual has established a diverse and comprehensive content portfolio, underscoring its long-term commitment to the Chinese-language film industry, the advancement of original storytelling, and the expansion of its presence in the international market.

As the organizer of Your Vision, Our Mission, Wanin Visual aims to offer more than just a submission platform for creators. The company is committed to building a comprehensive support system that guides promising projects from script development through to screen production.

Following the success of its first edition, the second edition of Your Vision, Our Mission seeks to discover even more stories with strong screen adaptation potential. The program aims to support creators throughout the journey from script to screen, bringing more outstanding original Chinese-language stories to audiences around the world.
