▌Wanin International Visual

Wanin International Visual is a subsidiary of Wanin International Co., Ltd. Centered on the film and television industry, it focuses on the production, investment, distribution, and marketing of movies and dramas. The company is also committed to developing KOL management, large-scale events, and other endeavors. Recently, it became the largest shareholder of Vieshow Cinemas and its subsidiaries, taking over operations and management, including Vie Vision Pictures and SNOWTOWN, as well as CINEMA7 Theatres Ximen. Looking ahead, the company aims to continue connecting with consumer and customer needs, integrating cross-industry resources, promoting the film and television entertainment industry chain, and collaborating to explore broader markets. It aspires to become a comprehensive film and television entertainment group.

The Film and Television Planning Department is dedicated to developing, producing, and investing in film and drama projects across a variety of genres. Investment projects include the critically acclaimed 2023 release "The Pig, The Snake and The Pigeon," the upcoming Netflix fantasy series "The Oracle Comes" and the LGBTQ+ urban romantic comedy "The Nipple Talk" currently in post-production.

In addition to external investments and gathering good stories and IPs, the company continues to develop original projects. For example, the original horror-thriller "Host" directed by renowned Hong Kong director Danny Pang, attracted international buyers' attention at its first appearance at the Hong Kong International Film & TV Market. The company is also actively seeking high-quality scripts and comic IPs with commercial potential, such as the film production rights for the 15th Filming Taipei Screenplay Competition winner "Assassin," the popular Taiwanese original comic"Do Not Wake Up" on Line Webtoon, the adaptation rights for "Crazy Mother" from TAICCA's CCCwebcomics, and the movie adaptation rights for "Three Unmarried Women" from Gamania beanfun!'s comic star. More projects are in progress, and the company is actively collaborating with outstanding film and television production teams both domestically and internationally, creating refreshing original content through continuous innovation and creativity.

While advancing both investment and production, the company also has a distribution team supporting theatrical releases. Distribution works include the well-known animated series "The Garfield Movie " and the upcoming espionage action blockbuster "Harbin" starring Hyun Bin.

This includes the highest-grossing Asian movie of all time Ah Boys To Men II and the acclaimed Ramen Teh. On its distribution wing, some notable movies that the company has distributed includes the record-breaking Korean blockbuster Train to Busan and its sequel, Andy Lau’s Shockwave and Shockwave 2，Palme d’Or award winner Shoplifters and Oscar-winning – Parasite.
